Finger-licking flavourful mint coriander chutney (pudina chutney) recipe

This is an easy chutney recipe made with ingredients which are easily available in your kitchen.

Mint chutney is a spicy dip made from mint leaves. It is an extremely flavoursome condiment, and is served in small quantities. It is one of the most popular Indian chutneys around, as it can be served with almost any food.

Ingredients

  • Mint leaves - 1 handfulĀ
  • Coriander leaves - 2 handfulĀ
  • Thick curd / Unflavored yogurt - 125 gramsĀ
  • Garlic cloves - 2Ā
  • Green chilli - 1 (I used half of a small chilli as I did not want the chutney hot)Ā
  • Chat masala - 1/2 teaspoon (Optional; you can use cumin powder instead)Ā
  • Lemon - 2 teaspoons (reduce if your curd is already sour enough)Ā
  • Salt - As per tasteĀ

Preparation Method:

  1. Wash coriander leaves and mint leaves in water and drain the water well. (see that there is no soil or dirt sticking to the leaves)
  2. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend well until it turns out to be a smooth paste.Ā
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl, and serve with Hot Vegetarian Seekh Kebab
