Delicious Mamdikaya Pankam / Mango Sharbat. Healthy and Refreshing Drink.
During the summer, stocking your fridge with fresh, ice-cold drinks is a great idea. My family and I have enjoyed a variety of meals with mango as a main ingredient this summer. Mango pudding, mango poolihora, and mamidikaya pappu, a meal made with raw mango and lentils, are all delicious.
Last week, I made panakam, a delicious mango-jaggery drink that is traditionally made in the summer. This drink tastes fantastic and is extremely refreshing, especially in the summer. It is also very easy to make.
I remember my mother and grandmother making this every summer when I was a kid. Panakam becomes a regular in our kitchen as soon as raw mangos arrive in the market.
