A recent poll asked Gen Z (ages 18-29) to choose what defines personal success. Among the respondents, men who supported Donald Trump in 2024 ranked having children as their top priority, whilst women who supported Kamala Harris placed it near the bottom of their list.
While both groups felt money and career was important, what is surprising to me is that none of them thought making their family or community proud or using their talents to help others was a high priority.
