Easy Refreshing Homemade Orangeade - Perfect Summer Treat
With summer approaching, it appears that oranges are in demand. I looooove the smell and taste of fresh orange juice. Other day, when I was at the fruit market, and they were selling fresh oranges, so I decided I need to buy some right then and there and make something with them.
I decided to make a JUG full of orangeade for lunch the other day before my oranges went bad. It was a huge success. It's really quite tasty. I've made a lot of lemonade and limeade, but never orangeade.
To be honest, this is far better to any orangeade you'll ever buy in a shop and requires only a few simple ingredients that most of you probably already have on hand. and you'll be sipping delicious homemade orangeade in no time.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups orange juice
- ¼ cup lime juice
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 liter sparkling water
- 2 cups ice
Preparation Method:
- In a large jug stir orange juice, lime juice, and sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved.
- Add 2 cups ice cubes and sparkling water and stir to blend.
- Allow about an hour or two of chilling time.
- Serve with Ice cubes.
