The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is one of the world's largest hot air balloon festivals and one of the UK's most popular free outdoor events.

• Free to attend.
• If you're driving, you need to book official car parking in advance. Shuttle buses and hospitality packages are also available.

What's happening?

Visitors can enjoy:

• 🎈 Mass balloon ascents featuring more than 100 hot air balloons (weather permitting).
• 🌅 Morning and evening launches, usually around 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
• ✨ Nightglow displays, where balloons light up in sync with music after dark.

Important to know

Hot air balloons can only fly if weather conditions are safe. Strong winds or poor weather may delay or cancel balloon launches, but entertainment on the festival site usually continues.
